Welcome to this week's newsletter.
I met with Isabella, the winner of my Christmas Card Competition, giving her a certificate. It was amazing to hear how much she enjoyed all the support she has been given. She also gave me a gonk as a gift!
This week the High Court ruled that the Government's Rwanda policy is lawful. I want to hear your views. Please fill in my survey to tell me what you think about this important issue.

I recently went to the Camms Street Gym to see their gymnastic Christmas show! Thank you to all who took part and the team who do fantastic work.
The holiday activities fund is once again providing free sessions for children from families on benefit-related free school meals. I went to both Wishing Well and Crewe Alexandra in the Community to take part in some of the sessions taking place over the Christmas Holidays. Read on below for details of other sessions happening over the next week.
Finally, booster vaccines are available on Wednesday at a walk-in clinic at Crewe Honda Centre. If you are eligible and still need to get yours, why not go along!
Have a wonderful Christmas!

Meeting Christmas Card Winner
It was a real pleasure meet Isabella this week to give her the certificate for winning and hear about how much she has enjoyed all the support and love her card has received!
Thanks again to Swansway Group for sponsoring the cards. Isabella has chosen Diabetes UK as her charity to donate to as she has a family member with diabetes. She was also excited about the extra art materials her school will receive thanks to Official Crewe & Nantwich District Round Table.
I came away with a gift of my own! A Gonk! Isabella and her brother tell me they are the big craft thing this year!
Immigration Survey
This week, the UK High Court has ruled the Rwanda Immigration and Economic Partnership agreement lawful. This means that asylum seekers can lawfully have their asylum claims processed in Rwanda and ultimately in some cases may be settled there. It may still be challenged in the European Court of Human Rights.
I know people have very strong views on this issue and other issues to do with immigration and asylum. Some people have called the Rwanda plan deeply immoral. Other people support it and I support it at the moment. We remain a generous and welcoming country. We have taken a lot of refugees from Ukraine, Hong Kong and Afghanistan.
I think we should have control over who we accept and when and how. Small boat crossings don't allow us to do that and make a huge amount of money for criminal gangs. I think making it clear that people will not always be allowed to stay here is vitally important otherwise people will keep using this route to arrive in the UK and more lives will be lost. There are quite literally millions of people that need help and would probably meet the criteria for asylum in the UK. We can't help all of them. We are also very generous in helping people with our international aid spending.
But I want to know what you as my constituents think. You might disagree! When it comes to non-asylum migration, I also know some people also miss freedom of movement with the EU a lot. I don't want it returned but you might! I also know businesses are struggling to fill jobs at the moment.
Please take a moment to complete my survey.

Camm Street Christmas Show
I recently visited Crewe and Nantwich Gymnastics and Fitness Centre for their annual Christmas Show at their premises at the Camm Street Centre in Crewe. The show was performed by some of the centre's gymnasts.
During the visit, I met with coaches Maddie and June and the centre's Chair of Trustees, Stuart. They provide high-quality gymnastic lessons for all ages, from as young as 18 months all the way up to adults.
It was really fun to go along to see their show. The team there do amazing work, providing ways for children and young people to keep fit and active.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the show and made it possible!
