Lockdown-Pools, gyms and sports facilities

Pools, gyms and sports facilities will be able to reopen and team sports and outdoor gigs resume in England, the government has announced.

Outdoor pools and performances can resume from Saturday with social distancing in place, Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said.

Petition against car parking charges

Cheshire East Council are planning to reintroduce parking charges on their car parks on the 15th June. Along with Cheshire East Councillors Allen Gage, Janet Clowes and others I am against this.

Petition launched to support Nantwich Market traders

Crewe & Nantwich MP Dr Kieran Mullan and local Nantwich councillors have joined forces with Nantwich Market traders to launch a petition opposing plans to increase their rental fees by as much as 10%.

Beechmere-what I have found regarding timber buildings

It is good news that we are in the position to say everyone safely escaped from the Beechmere fire thanks to the efforts of the friends and family of residents, neighbours and the emergency services.

Provisional plan for the Barony published

The Barony Park and Sports Complex are at the heart of Nantwich and are used by all different parts of the community for various sports, dog walking, picnics, events and more. In 2019 alone there have been 9 unauthorised encampments on the grounds with the latest one just today.
