Every day I receive dozens of campaign emails from constituents concerned with a huge variety of national and international issues. It is important that I prioritise the casework and personal concerns of my constituents. Therefore, in this section of the website I will outline my position on some of the big issues that many constituents have sent campaign emails about. You might find my response to a topical issue that you are passionate about in this section of the website.
As a rule, I do not ordinarily sign EDMs. I tend to think that they have little impact on parliamentary outcome and they cost a significant amount of taxpayers' money to orchestrate. I believe that there are other and more efficient avenues available to MPs such as meetings, formal debate time, etc. In this way, MPs can express interest around Government policies and make suggestions as to how policies can be developed to good effect.
