It has been really helpful to be able to spend time talking to Huw Merriman - your MP for the last 9 years. I know there are different challenges in each of our towns & villages. My job wouldn't be one size fits all. But you don't want your new MP to have to start from scratch on everything. I met with Huw so he could tell me the key local issues he has worked on so I can hit the ground running if I am elected. For example Huw worked hard to help get £60 million in Levelling Up investment for Bexhill & Rother. I am ready to pick up the baton to help make sure it is delivered.
