Local MP, Dr Kieran Mullan, recently visited Hazel Lodge Care Home in Battle, where he spent time chatting with residents and staff about a range of local and national issues.
During the visit, residents shared their views on matters affecting the local community, healthcare services, the cost of living, and wider national topics. The informal discussion provided an opportunity for residents to raise issues important to them and to hear directly from their Member of Parliament.
Kieran Mullan MP also toured the care home, meeting staff and learning more about the day-to-day care and support provided to residents at Hazel Lodge.
Speaking after the visit, Kieran Mullan MP said:
