Our farmers work tirelessly to feed the nation, care for our countryside and support thousands of jobs. They really are the backbone of our rural economy.
I recently visited Overy’s Farm and Redlands Farm in our constituency to see their work first-hand and hear about the challenges facing local farmers.
Farming families show extraordinary hard work, resilience and innovation. They have already put up a determined fight against Labour’s damaging Family Farm Tax, and I will continue to stand alongside them. We are committed to abolishing the tax and giving farmers the confidence to invest, grow and pass their farms on to the next generation
